Kaleidoscopic Octagon (Day 2)

We completed our octagons today by coloring in our designs.  The color is important in reflectional symmetry as well.  The colors have to be repeated in such a way that the symmetry of the color is also a reflection.

Once the octagons were colored, the students took a picture of their octagon using their IPods.  They emailed the picture to their school email.  Then they opened a new post on their blog and pasted the picture of their octagon and explained reflectional symmetry.
