I gave our final benchmark test of the year.
Throughout the year, I progress monitor my students using a variety of benchmark tests. I am looking for growth between each assessment and I use the data to determine tutorial groups, junior high math placement, and summer school attendees.
I have used three main benchmarks:
- 4th Grade Math STAAR/5th Grade Math STAAR
- end of grade assessment
- STAR Math Enterprise (through Renaissance Place)
- gives a current percentile rank and grade equivalent
- MSTAR (through Project Share)
- projects algebra readiness
